HILLSBOROUGH, SS SUPERIOR COURT

Union Leader Corporation

v.

Wilton-Lyndeborough Cooperative School District

No. 12-C-450

ORDER ON PETITIONER'S RIGHT TO KNOW REQUEST

The Union Leader Corporation ("Union Leader") petitions for an order requiring the respondents, Wilton-Lyndeborough Cooperative School District ("School District"), to provide certain records under the Right to Know law (RSA 91-A). Specifically, the Union Leader requests a copy of seal minutes from the April 24, 2012 non-public School Board session, a copy of a report from an investigation into possible misuse of School District funds, and any additional documentation that has been attached to either the report or the minutes. The School District rejects the request and contends the records are categorically exempt from disclosure under RSA 91-A:5, IV. See Hounsell v. North Conway Water Precinct, 154 N.H. 1, 4 (2006); Union Leader Corp. v. Fenniman, 136 N.H. 624, 627 (1993). The court will conduct an in camera review of the records to determine whether the records fall within any of the recognized exemptions.

Accordingly, the School District is required to submit four copies of the records to the court within 24 hours of this order: two copies of the records and two copies of a second set of records highlighting the School District's suggested redactions.

SO ORDERED.
