STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE
In the year of Our Lord one thousand nine hundred and seventy-five
AN ACT
relative to a statement of policy and construction of RSA 91-A.
Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:
1 Statement of Policy; Construction. Amend RSA 91-A by inserting after section 1 the following new section:
91-A:1-a Statement of Policy; Construction. Because it is essential to the maintenance of a democratic society that public business be performed in an open and public manner, this chapter shall be construed liberally so that the citizens of this state shall be advised of the performance of their public officials.
2 Effective Date. This act shall take effect sixty days after its passage.
